How does the buying process work?
It couldn't be easier to buy a car. In 3 easy steps you can have your car delivered to your doorstep.
1. Choose your car
You can research and find prices for your car by using our easy to use search facility or you can let us do the leg work for you by filling in an online enquiry form or using our call me back service.
2. Submit a sales enquiry
Once you've found the right car for you, or even before that, either place an online enquiry or make a call to one of our team of dedicated specialists in one of our Franchised Retail Centres! Each of our Brands has it's own dedicated number. If you choose an online enquiry you'll be contacted soon and be able to discuss all your own personal requirements including; finance, part exchange and delivery times.
3. Order your car
Once you're happy you've found the right car, our Online team at our Franchised Retail Centre will help make all the necessary arrangements including arranging delivery of your next car with you.
We'll keep in touch throughout your car purchase, handover and far beyond to ensure you have a great experience. If you have any questions always feel free to contact us for some friendly help and advice.

What's included with a new car bought via Autobytel?
Autobytel's on the road new car price includes first registration fee, number plates and road fund licence. There is also free delivery in many areas or highly competitive delivery prices are always available. Our retailers will confirm delivery arrangements on your car. We offer you complete peace of mind with a full manufacturers warranty with all new cars.

What's included in a nearly new or used car bought from via Autobytel?
The majority of our used cars come with at least 12 months warranty, mileage check, Experian vehicle history / outstanding finance check, minimum term MOT and full professional valet.

What does submitting an enquiry mean?
If you submit an enquiry by phone or by email it simply means you are requesting further information. You are in no way under any obligation to take the process any further. One of our Retail Centre internet specialists will contact you with the information you require within 4 business hours of submitting an enquiry.

How and when do I pay for the car?
When you choose to order your car we will take a deposit which is typically between 5% and 10% of the value of your car, the remaining balance will be required before you take delivery of the car.

When will I know the exact delivery date of my car?
Our Retail Centre internet specialists will confirm your delivery date with you after discussing your requirements in detail.

Can I part exchange my current car?
We welcome part exchanges! Our Franchised Retail Centres will be happy to provide a fair part exchange price based on the current market value of your car.

What if I am unhappy with the car after delivery?
We have a robust, supportive customer issue resolution procedure and will always attempt to ensure any problems are addressed quickly, efficiently and courteously, our prime concern is that we do all we reasonably can to ensure your satisfaction.
If your order is subject to distance selling regulations the car may be returned within 7 days.

What is Personal Contract Purchase (PCP)?
Personal Contract Purchase is a highly attractive and increasingly popular way to own a New, nearly new or used car.
It combines fixed monthly payments with exceptional flexibility at the end of the agreement.
Your car's guaranteed minimum future value is calculated (based on a pre-agreed mileage per year and the age of the car) and is deferred as a final payment.
At the end of your PCP agreement you have total control in deciding which of these choices suits you best;
1. Part-exchange your car, any equity after the final payment is taken care of is yours to use as deposit on your next car or take as cash-back.
2. Buy the car by settling an agreed final payment
3. Or, subject to mileage and condition, return the car with nothing more to pay (i.e. If car prices fall substantially and you find you have negative equity you are protected and hand the car back with nothing to pay!)

What is Hire Purchase (HP)?
This popular method of funding your car enables you to pay fixed monthly payments over a fixed term at a fixed, competitive, interest rate after your final payment you own the car completely. You have the option to pay initial cash deposit and/or use your part exchange as a deposit; however deposits are not always required. You also have the option to repay the agreement early and you may receive an early repayment benefit for doing so, the maximum term of the Hire Purchase agreements we recommend is 5 years.
