Hampshire resident Beverley Brazil went nuts on Monday when Thames Valley Tonight presenters Wesley Smith and Mary Green turned up outside her Tadley home with an early Christmas present - a brand new MINI Cooper from Autobytel, Britain’s leading online car retailer.
Beverley had taken part in a competition run by Autobytel and ITV to mark the launch of a new ITV news service for the region, which took to the air on Monday 4th December. She had no idea she had won until the popular local news presenters, wearing matching Santa hats, knocked on her door.
The keys to the festive red MINI Cooper, worth nearly £13,000, were presented to Beverley by Rob Walker, Sales Manager of www.autobytel.co.uk, the online arm of Inchcape Retail, one of the largest franchised dealer groups in the UK with 13 MINI dealerships in the South East region.
After recovering from the surprise, Beverley said: "I’m so shocked – in fact I’m shaking. My Husband John and I enter loads of competitions, but never win. This is amazing!" |
